The product has been excellent and does the job what it says on the tin. Only small suggestion is to improve colour quality as it happened before that even with minor scratches, colour removed and shows metal product underneath
INGREDIENTS -
- 8-10 raw bananas
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup water
- Oil for frying
- 2 tbsp peri-peri masala
METHOD -
- Peel the raw bananas carefully.
- Using a mandolin slicer, slice the bananas vertically into long, thin chips.
- In a bowl, mix the water, salt, and turmeric powder until well combined.
- Heat oil in a frying pan for deep frying.
- Add the sliced banana chips to the hot oil.
- Pour 2 tbsp of the turmeric water into the oil while frying the chips. (Be cautious, as it may splatter)
- Once the chips turn golden brown, remove them from the oil and place them in a bowl to drain excess oil.
- Sprinkle the peri-peri masala over the chips and toss well to coat evenly.
- Let the chips cool down completely, then store them in a jar for later. Enjoy!
