Gud ka Halwa
Here's our winter special Gud Halwa recipe that makes use of store cupboard ingredients and comes together in about 30 mins!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup water
1 cup jaggery
2 tbsp ghee
1 cup rawa
1/2 cup whole wheat atta
1 tbsp cashew
1 tbsp almond
METHOD:
In a sauce pan, add 1 cup water and 1 cup jaggery.
Mix well and let it melt. Keep aside.
In another kadhai add 2 tbsp ghee.
Add 1 cup rawa and 1/ 2 cup whole wheat atta and roast till the mixture turns a light golden brown.
Add chopped nuts and mix well.
Add jaggery water and stir.
Cook until it all comes together.
Garnish and serve immediately.
