Vanilla Ice Cream French Toast

Transform your breakfast into a sweet indulgence with Vanilla Ice Cream French Toast! This delightful dish combines the creamy richness of vanilla ice cream with the comforting warmth of French toast, creating a treat that's perfect for special mornings or anytime you crave a little extra sweetness. Top it off with fresh berries and almond slivers for a breakfast experience that's both fun and delicious!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 slices of bread (preferably thick-cut or brioche)
  • 3 cups vanilla ice cream, softened


GARNISH:

  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
  • Almond slivers

METHOD:

Prepare the Coating:

1. Scoop vanilla ice cream into a bowl and let it soften at room temperature.

2. Whisk the softened ice cream until it becomes creamy.


Coat the Bread:

3. Dip each bread slice into the whisked vanilla ice cream, making sure both sides are fully coated.


Cook the French Toast:

4. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease if needed.

5. Place the coated bread slices on the pan.

6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.



Garnish and Serve:

7. Remove the French toast from the pan and let it cool slightly.

8. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

9. Garnish with fresh berries and almond slivers.

10. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Vanilla Ice Cream French toast!
