It has a light indicator that turns off when water has finished boiling. The electric kettle has dry-boil protection which means it will not operate if there is no water inside. It also has an auto cut-off so the appliance will switch off on its own once the water has finished boiling.

It is a beautiful piece of art. No doubt Borosil has researched a lot before zeroing down to such gem of product. It's size, finish and the functioning excellent. As the name states we can touch or hold the outer surface while the inside is boiling really hot. Not cool but mildly warm. I am sure no customer have returned this product for any reason. It is worth the money one pays. After all the brand name says it all. Thank you.
