    The first storage product we ever launched, the Classic Jar has inspired many variations, but the original with its elegant brushed steel lid is still one of our best loved designs. Flame proof and freezer proof, the Classic Jar can be used to store literally anything - from pulses and grains in your kitchen, or dry fruits and snacks in your living spaces, to purees and chutneys in the freezer. Since the jars are flame proof, it is easy to thaw the contents. Available in a multitude of sizes, the Classic Jar is a must have in every home.


    Borosil Tip: Put the jar directly in the oven to freshen up snacks when you have guests drop in!

    The Borosil Glass Jar range:

    • Is made of 100% borosilicate glass and is guaranteed to withstand temperatures of up to 350C
    • Can be safely used in the microwave, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher
    • Unlike plastic or ordinary glass, will not leach chemicals into your food even after repeated usage
    • Is harder and tougher than ordinary glass
    • Is scratch resistant
    • Non porous glass will not absorb stains or odors
    • Retains perfect clarity. Unlike regular soda lime glass, will not turn cloudy with repeated usage.
