The CarryMate keeps food hot for up to 12 hours and cold for up to 13 hours. For best results, pre-heat the jar by filling it with hot water for 2-3 minutes before adding your food. Fill the jar completely, as air gaps accelerate heat loss. Keep the lid tightly closed and avoid opening it repeatedly.
What foods can I carry in the CarryMate Food Jar?
The 500 ml wide-mouth jar is designed for both liquids and semi-solid foods. You can carry dal, rasam, sambar, soup, khichdi, chaas, curd, porridge, upma, poha, oats, pasta, and stew. It also works for cold items like yogurt, fruit salad, cold soup, and raita. The wide mouth makes it easy to eat directly from the jar with a spoon. Avoid carbonated and alcoholic beverages.

Yes. The CarryMate has a thread-type screw lid that creates a secure seal. When closed properly, it is leak-proof and can be carried in a bag, lunchbox, or backpack without spilling. For semi-liquid foods like dal or rasam, make sure the lid is tightened fully before placing in a bag.
What material is the CarryMate made from? Is it safe for food?
The CarryMate is made of 304 food-grade stainless steel (18/8) on both the inside and outside. There is no plastic lining on the interior. The copper coating sits between the two walls (not in contact with food) for better insulation. All parts that touch food are stainless steel. The jar is BPA-free and does not leach chemicals or transfer metallic taste to food.
How do I clean the CarryMate Food Jar?
Wash with warm water, a drop of mild dish soap, and a soft bottle brush after every use. Rinse the lid and threading thoroughly to remove food particles trapped in the grooves. For stubborn food odour (from spiced dal, garlic, or fish curry), soak with 1 tablespoon baking soda and warm water for 30 minutes, then rinse. Do not put the jar in the dishwasher as it can damage the vacuum seal. Keep the lid off when not in use to prevent odour buildup.
