Good build quality, but a few functional gaps hold it back
The Borosil MaxPack Professional Backpack has solid material quality and looks premium - no complaints there. But a few design choices affect everyday usability:
Tiffin compartment needs to be a separate, blocked space with foam padding: Right now the tiffin compartment is just cloth, not padded like the tiffin box itself, and it isn't properly sectioned off from the compartment above it. So when you take the tiffin out, whatever is in the compartment above (headphones, a book, etc.) sinks down into the empty tiffin space. This means every time you want to put the tiffin back, you first have to remove everything from the compartment above, place the tiffin, and then repack the upper items again - otherwise they end up sitting on top of the tiffin through that shared space. It's a genuinely annoying daily hassle. The tiffin section needs internal stitching to make it a true blocked-off compartment, with foam lining like the tiffin box itself.
Bottle compartment zip is loose and has no lock: The outer bottle zip isn't tight enough, and more critically, there's no lock/slider stopper - it opens on its own while walking. My Dublin bottle (worth ₹1,350) fell out of the bag twice because of this, got dented, and I had to spend another ₹300 just to replace the cap and dent formed permanently. This defeats the entire purpose of a dedicated bottle compartment.
Laptop sleeve can't hold a laptop and a tablet together: The sleeve is too narrow - you can fit either a laptop or an 11.5"/10" tablet/iPad, but not both at once. When both are inside, the lack of space puts heavy pressure directly on the screens, and there's a real risk of the touchscreen cracking on either the laptop or the tablet. The sleeve needs more width/padding to safely hold both together, since that's a very common combination people carry.
Verdict: Great aesthetics and material, but the compartment design needs rework - especially proper sectioning for the tiffin compartment, a working bottle zip lock, and a wider laptop sleeve - before it can be called a fully functional everyday carry bag.

Delivered me wrong colour. When I placed complaint, they took back the product and sent me wrong colour again. My issue was never resolved.
