INGREDIENTS -
- Maida: 2 cups
- Ghee: 1 tbsp
- Salt: to taste
- Water: approx. 1 cup
- Oil: for frying
METHOD -
- In a bowl, add maida, ghee, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add water to form a smooth dough.
- Heat oil in a pan to fry the Luchi.
- Make lemon-sized balls from the dough and cover them with a moist cloth.
- Flatten each ball and roll it out from the centre until it reaches approximately 10 cm in diameter.
- Gently drop the rolled Luchi into the hot oil.
- Fry on both sides until the Luchi puffs up and turns golden brown.
- Remove from oil and drain excess oil on paper towels.
Serve your Luchi with aloo sabji for a delightful meal!
