Products are good. But delivery system bad. Every jar came separately with separate code. Very stupid
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cashews (to be ground into a powder)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water (for sugar syrup)
- A pinch of saffron strands (for colour)
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- Silver leaf (varak) (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare Cashew Powder:
Blend cashews in a grinder until you get a fine powder. Sieve the powder to ensure there are no lumps, creating a smooth texture.Make the Sugar Syrup:
In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat the mixture over medium flame, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add a pinch of saffron strands to give the syrup a rich golden colour.Test the Syrup:
Continue cooking until the syrup reaches a sticky consistency. Test by taking a drop between your fingers—it should form a thread when pulled apart.Mix Cashew Powder:
Once the syrup is ready, slowly add the sieved cashew powder while stirring. Sprinkle in the cardamom powder and continue stirring until the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.Shape the Jalebis:
Transfer the thickened mixture onto a greased tray and spread it evenly to cool. Once cool, take small portions and roll them into thin logs. Shape the logs into spirals to form the jalebi.Garnish and Serve:
Apply silver leaf (varak) on top of each jalebi for a decorative touch. Garnish with saffron strands and chopped pistachios. Let the jalebis cool completely before serving.
