We say that if you are about to pop the frozen waffle in the toaster, then ditch it and prepare the most delectably delicious waffles that will make you drool.
The best waffles have a tender pillowy inside and crunchy edges that balance the flavour with a touch of salted butter to savour the sweetness.
Well, most of the recipes have the basic ingredients so you need to add your touch to make them memorable and trust us when we tell you, they are the easiest thing to pair.

➳ FLUFFY WAFFLE
Ingredients You Need:
1 tbsp of sugar
2 tbsp of baking powder
½ tbsp of salt
3 large eggs- separated
2 cups of 2%milk
¼ cup of canola oil
For the cinnamon syrup-
1 cup of sugar
½ cup of light corn syrup
¼ cup of water
1 can (5 ounces) of evaporated milk
1 tbsp- vanilla extract
½ tbsp- ground cinnamon
Mixed fresh berries (optional)
Bake Away!
In a glass mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Combine the egg yolk, milk and oil; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
In a small glass mixing bowl, beat the whites until stiff peaks form and fold them into the batter.
Bake in a preheated waffle maker and follow the manufacturer’s directions.
Meanwhile, for syrup, combine sugar, corn syrup and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat and stir in the milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
Serve with waffles.

➳ GINGERBREAD BELGIAN WAFFLE
Ingredients You Need:
½ cup of softened butter
2 ounces of softened cream cheese
½ tbsp of vanilla extract
⅛ tbsp of salt
1-½ cup of confectioners sugar
2 tbsp of 2% milk
For waffles-
2 cups of all-purpose flour
¼ cup of brown sugar
3 tbsp of baking powder
1-½ tbsp of baking soda
1 tbsp of ground cinnamon
½ tbsp of salt
¼ tbsp of ground nutmeg
4 large eggs- separated
2 cups of buttermilk
½ cup of molasses
2 tbsp of vanilla extract
Bake Away!
Beat the first four ingredients until smooth in a glass mixing bowl.Gradually beat in confectioner sugar, then milk. Cover and set aside the glass mixing bowl.
Preheat the Belgian waffle maker.
Whisk together the first eight waffle ingredients in a glass mixing bowl.
In another mixing bowl, whisk together egg yolks, buttermilk, melted butter, molasses and vanilla.
Add these to the dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
In a clean glass mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff but not dry. Gently fold into batter.
Bake the waffles in the waffle maker according to the manufacturer's directions.

➳ CLASSIC NUTELLA WAFFLE
Ingredients You Need:
1 ½ cups All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 Eggs
½ cup Nutella
1 cup Milk Whole Milk or 2%
1 tablespoon Sugar
3 tablespoon Butter Melted
Bake Away!
Preheat your waffle maker according to the instructions.
In a medium glass mixing bowl, mix the flour and baking powder and set it aside.
In a large glass mixing bowl, mix the eggs and sugar and whisk well.
Add melted butter and milk and mix well.
Whisk in the Nutella until fully combined and add the flour mixture.

Use a wooden spoon (Replace the whisk) to mix.
Grease the waffle iron and pour the batter.

➳ FAMILY FAVOURITE OATMEAL WAFFLE
Ingredients You Need:
1 cup of Quick cooking oats
3 tbsp of baking powder
½ tbsp of ground cinnamon
¼ tbsp of ground cinnamon
¼ tbsp of salt
2 large eggs (lightly beaten at room temperature)
1-½ cups of whole milk
6 tbsp of melted butter
2 tbsp of brown sugar
Assorted fresh fruits and yoghurt of your choice
Bake Away!
In a large glass mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon and salt and set aside.
In another large glass mixing bowl, wish eggs, milk, butter and brown sugar. Add to flour mixture and stir until blended.
Pour the batter into a lightly greased waffle maker. Close the lid quickly.
Bake in the waffle maker according to the manufacturer's directions and do not open it during baking. Use a fork or knife to remove the baked waffle.
Top it with fresh fruits and yoghurt.
➳ PEACHES ‘N’ CREAM WAFFLE DIPPERS
Ingredients You Need:
1 tbsp of sugar
1 tbsp of baking powder
¼ tbsp of salt
2 large eggs separated
1 cup of 2%milk
2 tbsp of melted butter
¼ tbsp of vanilla extract
1-¼ cups of chopped frozen peaches, thawed, divided
2 cups of sweetened whipped cream or whipped topping
¾ cup of peach yoghurt
Toasted pecans and ground cinnamon (optional)
Bake Away!
In a medium glass mixing bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
In another glass mixing bowl, whisk egg yolks, milk, butter and vanilla until blended.
Add to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Stir in 1 cup of peaches.
In a small mixing bowl, fold whipped cream into the yoghurt.
Bake the waffle in the waffle maker and serve hot with whipped cream and peaches.

➳ GOLDEN BUTTERMILK WAFFLES
Ingredients You Need:
1 tbsp of baking powder
1 tbsp of baking soda
½ tbsp of salt
2 large eggs (room temperature)
2 cups of buttermilk
⅓ cup of canola oil
Sliced fresh strawberries, strawberry syrup and whipped cream (Optional)

In a medium mixing bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In another glass mixing bowl, beat the eggs, and add buttermilk and oil. Stir into dry ingredients just until combined.
Bake in a preheated waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s directions until golden brown.
Serve with sliced strawberries, syrup and whipped cream.

½ cup of butter (softened)
1 tbsp of grated orange zest
¼ cup of chopped walnuts
1 cup +2 tbsp of all-purpose flour
2 tbsp of brown sugar
1 tbsp of ground cinnamon
½ tbsp of salt
½ tbsp of baking powder
¼ tbsp of baking soda
2- large eggs
1 cup of 2% milk
½ cup of canned pumpkin
2 tbsp of butter (melted)
Maple syrup
Bake Away!
Preheat the waffle maker. Mix softened butter and orange zest, and stir in walnuts.
Whisk together first all the waffle ingredients.
In another glass mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, pumpkin and melted butter then add it to the dry ingredients and stir until moistened.
Cook waffles in a waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s direction until golden brown.
Serve with butter mixture and syrup.
