Beetroot Tikki
This recipe is hard to 'beet'! It's got the goodness of beetroots and comes together in a matter of minutes.
INGREDIENTS:
1cup beetroot, boiled and grated
1tbsp oil
1tbsp onion
1tsp cumin
1tsp green chilli
1tsp chaat masala
1tbsp coriander leaves
1tsp red chilli powder
1tsp coriander powder
10-12 pc cashews
1/2cup boiled potatoes
2 cups rava
METHOD:
In a mixing bowl, add boiled potatoes, beetroot, onions, chillies, cumin and all the spices. Mix well until everything is combined well together.
Take some tikki mix in your hand and shape them into tikkis. Once shaped, coat it with rava and add a cashew in the center.
In a pan, add oil and cook the tikkis until they've a golden brown crust and are cooked through.
Serve hot with rotis or bread, salad and chutney.
