Sweet Potato Cutlet
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup Peanuts
5 Boiled Sweet Potatoes
2 Green Chillies, chopped
2 tsp Ginger Paste
1.5 tsp Jeera (Cumin) Powder
Salt to taste
METHOD
1. Grind peanuts into a fine powder using a blender and set it aside.
2. In a bowl, mash the boiled sweet potatoes thoroughly by hand.
3. Add chopped green chillies, ginger paste, jeera powder, salt, and the ground peanut powder. Mix the ingredients well.
4. Take portions of the mixture and shape them into round or flattened tikkis.
5. Shallow fry the tikkis on a tawa (griddle) until they are evenly cooked and turn golden brown on both sides.
6. Serve the cutlets with chutney or enjoy them as farali tikki chaat.
