This fennel-based drink combines the natural sweetness of saunf with the tang of lemon juice, a hint of spice from cardamom and peppercorns, and the earthy kick of black salt. Whether you're looking to cool off on a warm day or just enjoy a unique, flavorful beverage, this simple-to-make Saunf Sharbat is your ideal companion. Garnished with fresh mint and lemon, it's a delightful treat that complements any occasion!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup saunf (fennel seeds)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2-3 cardamom pods
  • 2-3 peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp black salt

Method:

  1. In a blender, add fennel seeds, sugar, cardamom, and peppercorns.
  2. Blend into a powder.
  3. To make the sharbat, in a bowl, add ice, prepared saunf powder, lemon juice, black salt, and water.
  4. Mix well and pour into glasses.
  5. Garnish with mint and lemon.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
