Peri Peri Banana chips

Crispy, golden, and packed with a fiery twist, Peri-Peri Raw Banana Chips are the ultimate snack for those who love bold flavors with a healthy twist. Perfectly thin and fried to crunchy perfection, these chips bring together the natural goodness of raw bananas and the zing of peri-peri spice. Whether you are binge-watching your favorite series, hosting friends for a casual get-together, or simply craving a mid-day pick-me-up, these chips are your go-to indulgence. 

INGREDIENTS -

  • 8-10 raw bananas

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 cup water

  • Oil for frying

  • 2 tbsp peri-peri masala

METHOD -


  • Peel the raw bananas carefully.

  • Using a mandolin slicer, slice the bananas vertically into long, thin chips.

  • In a bowl, mix the water, salt, and turmeric powder until well combined.

  • Heat oil in a frying pan for deep frying.

  • Add the sliced banana chips to the hot oil.

  • Pour 2 tbsp of the turmeric water into the oil while frying the chips. (Be cautious, as it may splatter)

  • Once the chips turn golden brown, remove them from the oil and place them in a bowl to drain excess oil.

  • Sprinkle the peri-peri masala over the chips and toss well to coat evenly.

  • Let the chips cool down completely, then store them in a jar for later. Enjoy!
