INGREDIENTS:
2 cups yoghurt
5 pita bread
1 cup cooked chickpeas
2 tbsp sesame seed paste
2 tbsp garlic
Lemon juice
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Pomegranate to garnish
Cumin powder to garnish
Red chilli powder to garnish
Parsley to garnish
METHOD:
1. Cut pita bread into small pieces and fry them until golden brown. Remove in a plate and keep aside.
2. In a bowl, add yoghurt, garlic, sesame paste, lemon, salt and pepper. Mix very well.
To assemble:
In a tray, add fried pita, and top it up with chickpeas and yoghurt. Repeat the layer. Garnish with red chilli powder, cumin powder, pomegranate and parsley. Serve and enjoy!
