Frozen Yoghurt Chocolate Disc

Elevate your dessert game with these Frozen Yogurt Chocolate Discs! Combining the creamy tang of Greek yoghurt with the rich flavour of Nutella and dark chocolate, this treat is perfect for a quick, refreshing snack. Top with sea salt and hazelnuts for a delightful crunch, making each bite a little piece of heaven. Enjoy a guilt-free indulgence that’s as fun to make as it is to eat!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup Nutella or any hazelnut spread
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Sea salt for sprinkling
  • Chopped hazelnuts for sprinkling

METHOD:

  1. In a bowl, mix together yogurt, Nutella, cacao powder, and honey until well combined.

  2. Portion out the mixture into scoops and place them onto a tray lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 1-2 hours or until firm.

  3. In a separate bowl, melt dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals.

  4. Dip the frozen yogurt discs in the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Use a fork to lift them and let the excess chocolate drip off.

  5. Place the discs back on the tray lined with parchment paper and freeze for a few minutes until set.

  6. Take them out and pour some more melted chocolate on top, then sprinkle with sea salt and chopped hazelnuts. Serve & enjoy!
