The Borosil range of Vision carafes are not only microwave proof but can also be used directly on the flame or hot plate. So say goodbye to multiple utensils when making your favourite cuppa. Now make and reheat your daily dose of tea or coffee directly over the flame in the 100% flame proof Borosil carafe.


Borosil Tip: Use the infuser to put in fresh leaves (tulsi & mint) and some herbs (like cinnamons and cloves) for a healthy detox drink

Borosil Carafes:

  • Are made of 100% borosilicate glass and are guaranteed to withstand temperatures of up to 350C
  • Are 100% flame proof and can be used directly on the flame
  • Can be safely used in the microwave, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher
  • Unlike plastic or ordinary glass, will not leach chemicals into your drink even after repeated usage
  • Are harder and tougher than ordinary glass
  • Are scratch resistant
  • Non porous glass will not absorb stains or odors

I used it to make tea. It does a good job of allowing the tea and any other ingredient to infuse with the water. The tea tastes better than if it is made by directly putting the tea in the water and boiling it. The taste is pure and plain.
