Honey Roasted Almond Butter

This alternative to peanut butter has a much higher nutritive value. Loaded with calcium, protein and minerals, it’s quite addictive too. Use it in cookies as an alternative to butter, in high protein smoothies or on toast!

INGREDIENTS:


1 cup toasted almonds

¼ cup neutral oil

1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (use 100% pure maple syrup to ensure its gluten-free)

¼ tsp sea salt


#BorosilTip: Prepare the almond butter in large quantities and store it in borosilicate glass storage containers.


METHOD:


Place the almonds in the small Nutrifresh grinder jar.


Process briefly to chop, then add the remaining ingredients.


Process in small intervals, scraping down sides after each time.


Taste and adjust seasoning.
