It is a very good & compact sized product easy to carry on outdoor trips
Ingredients:
For the Noodles:
- 5-6 boiled potatoes
- 1/2 cup potato starch
- 3 tbsp water
For the Sauce:
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Schezwan sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Method:
Prepare the Potato Noodles:
1. Boil, peel, and mash the potatoes until smooth.
2. Add potato starch and water to the mashed potatoes, and knead into a smooth dough.
3. Roll the dough into long logs, forming the noodles. Set aside.
Cook the Noodles:
4. Bring water to a boil in a kadhai (wok or deep pan).
5. Add the prepared potato noodles to the boiling water and cook for 3-4 minutes.
6. Strain the noodles and set them aside.
Prepare the Sauce:
7. In a bowl, mix sesame oil, Schezwan sauce, oyster sauce, and soy sauce until well combined.
Combine Noodles and Sauce:
8. Add the boiled potato noodles to the sauce mixture and toss well to coat the noodles evenly.
Garnish and Serve:
9. Garnish with sesame seeds, chopped spring onions, and chopped chilies.
10. Serve and enjoy!
