Mango Salsa
Nice tangy dip in season to serve with nachos. If mango isn’t in season, you can make a strawberry kiwi dip, a watermelon cucumber salsa, or then a more well-known tomato salsa.
INGREDIENTS: Serves 4
1 ripe mango, diced
1 kiwi, quartered
1-2 green chilies
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp chopped red onion
2 tbsp fresh coriander, finely chopped
A few sprigs fresh mint, finely chopped
Juice of ½ a lime
Pink sea salt, to taste
#BorosilTip: Serve with lavash, nachos, crackers or as a side to grilled paneer, halloumi etc.
METHOD:
Finely chop a little mango and kiwi for garnish.
Place the remaining mango, kiwi, green chili, garlic, salt and lime juice in small Nutrifresh bullet jar and pulse until blended.
Stir in chopped onion and fresh herbs.
Taste and adjust seasoning.
Chill in a glass storage container for an hour before serving, so the flavours mature.
Top with reserved chopped fruit.
