If the glass container is being used as part of the lunchbox, then the gaskets should be removed from the lid and cleaned with hot water and dishwashing soap / liquid daily. Every weekend, soak the gaskets in hot water with some dishwashing detergent for 2 hours, rinse with warm water and clean with soft cloth.
If the glass container is being used for fridge storage, then clean gasket as and when required by soaking in hot water with dishwashing detergent and rinsing with warm water.

The lids are made of cfeap plastic. Both the lids broke again. It was waste of money and efforts.

The lids are not of good quality! The moment you press the plastic clip from the sides to close the lid the clip breaks off. I bought four lids out of which two have already been broken in the first chance only
